During the ICA General Assembly held on 20 June 2022 in Seville, Mr. Bahman Abdollahi, the President of Iran Chamber of Cooperatives (ICC), has been elected as a new member of the ICA Board.

The ICA Board is comprised of the President, four Vice Presidents, four representatives of the global sectoral organisations, one youth representative, the Chair of the Gender Equality Committee, and fifteen other at-large members.

Twenty-two candidates were standing for 15 seats on the Board, which Mr. Bahman Abdollahi, the representative of Iranian cooperative movement, in an intense competition has been elected as one of the new member of the ICA Board.
